What we'd buy
Each tile is a different category and a different product. Prices come from Amazon's live data and carry the date they were checked — where no live price exists, the button says so rather than showing an old number.

How we work
Electrical figures cite the NEC article. Vehicle onboard rates cite the manufacturer's own specification. Range and efficiency come from the US DOE and EPA. The link is at the point of use, not in a footer.
We verify published specifications and date the verification. We do not own a test lab and will not claim one. Where a judgment comes from owner reports, it is labeled as owner reports.
Every price comes from Amazon's live data with the date it was checked. If that data is more than 48 hours old the number disappears and the button reads “check price”. The failure mode is silence, not a stale claim.
Roughly a third of our vehicle pages recommend a smaller charger than you were probably about to buy, because the car cannot use more. Commission rate plays no part in what we recommend or in what order.

How this is funded
EV & Charger earns commission when you buy through a link on this site, at no extra cost to you. We are a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program. That is the whole business model — no sponsored posts, no paid placements, no brand paying for a ranking position.
Which means the incentive we have to manage is obvious, so we manage it in public: products are selected before any commercial consideration, ranking order is fit for the stated use case first, and a third of our vehicle pages actively tell you to buy a cheaper charger. Our methodology states the inclusion criteria and the ranking basis, and our editorial policy covers independence and corrections.
Prices render only from Amazon's live data and carry the date they were checked. If that data goes stale the number disappears rather than misleading you. Full detail in our affiliate disclosure.
